The Sheffield Solar Farm team at the University of Sheffield contacted us about looking into developing a educational mobile application which would work on the Apple iPad along the theme of Renewable Energy.

The Sheffield Solar Far forms part of the Project Sunshine, which aims to harness the power of the sun to tackle increasing food and energy needs of the world’s population in light of the threat of a uncertain climate and environment change.

The aim of the app is to provide a educational tool which allows them to demonstrate real world performances of photovoltaic technologies. Photovoltaics is a method of generating electrical power by converting solar radiation into direct current electricity using semiconductors that exhibit the photovoltaic effect.

If you’ve got a similar idea or are looking at how you can use the Apple iPad to create educational app, why not contact a member of our team today to discuss your idea?
